*Periodic* Vaginal Discomfort?
Around late Febuary I started to experience some discomfort in my vaginal area. At times, I felt a bit of urgency to pee. These sensations only seemed to start in the afternoons. I also found that during the times of discomfort, it went away during showers and for sometime after. Checking my vaginal area with a mirror, I noticed no visible signs of of sores, discharge and did not have a fishy odor. I did not experience discomfort or pain during sex. This discomfort went away for a week and I figured it was just stress. Then it came back for a few days, went away again. So basically this is only sporadic. I have asked my sexual partner if he has experienced any discomfort. I recently had an STD screening (January) and have come back clean so its hard for me to think it is that.
What could it be? Why the sporadic discomfort?
Please note: I very very seldom use douche (It is not good to use too frequently) and bathe once a day including a light sponge bath in my vaginal area.

There are a lot of things that could cause this. It could be linked to your hormone levels or stress. It sounds like you are taking the right steps... and doesn't sound like an STD to me. Do the symptoms come around the same time as your period? It could be just that.
In any case, you should see a GYN and have a full pelvic exam. He/She will be able to tell you what is going on and see if you need any more tests done.
Good luck!
