So I weigh 136 pounds im 5'11 or 5'10 im 16 years old. Im over weight by 8-10 pounds max my normal weight should be 126-128 pounds. I want to loose those 8-10 pounds. My track coach says if I just drink plenty of water and eat an orange every 3 hours and excersie that i should be good in a week or so. Do you guys think i should listen to him?

i think you should listen to him, because he probably isn't going to lie to you and tell you the wrong thing. If he didn't know a good answer he probably wouldn't just tell you something made up. Listen to him, and try it.

Reduce calories and fat in the foods you eat. Exercise and drink lots of water.

The orange he advised is for an appetite suppressor. But oranges have too much sugar in them.
Eat an apple instead. The apple will fill you up and thus you'll eat less at the next meal.
An orange? Some actually told you to eat an orange every three hours? I'm not sure what the orange will do for you other than being another fruit in your diet, but the exercise and water will help. I doubt you will lose 8-10 pounds in a week, unless you exercise for an extremely long time (think The Biggest Loser).
